Week of March 27th

                    This week of March 27th, my production and I have gotten many things done for our PSA so far.  On tuesday March 24, we finished filming our PSA.  The next day after hours of filming, we started importing all the footage we had into the computer. Taking the whole period to import all our footage and looking through to see if we had everything, we just waited for the net day to come.  So far for the last two days of the week, we busted started editing our movie.  So far with the editing all we have done was figuring out what clips we needed for the PSA.  Afterwards, we began setting up the clips in iMovie in the type of sequence we wanted and cutting the clips we didn't need.

What Music Means to Me

                       To me, music is a type of gateway out of this world.  Music usually lets me take a break from my world and lets me into others.  Listening to music calms me down a lot when something in my life is going on or when nothing is going on and I just want a feel of fun throughout music.  I listen to almost all kind of music, and I like them all because they all set my mood to either be happy, sad, mad, excited, or frustrated, however I would rather be happy and excited than any other moods.   Plus, if i want to know that I'm not alone in this world, music makes me imagine of whats going on in the artists' lives and if I can relate.  I always think of music as a type of confession from music artists and many of them might have gone or are going through what I am.  I'm not a musical person like those whose life is all about music, but it is a part of me.   Music isn't my everything, but it can be something that helps me and will always be there for when I need to get out or when I just need a little bit of happiness or relaxation.

Problems and Struggles

                    At this moment I'm not facing any problems or struggles, but I have noticed other people struggling or having problems in bell.  I guess one struggle that most students face or have faced is having to pass their classes to graduate.  Everyone is different and everyone learns different and at different pace.  Sometimes your teacher might go to fast with a lesson and you still don't get it, but your teacher noticed that most of your classmates did so they ignored your struggle.  Not all teachers do that, but their might be a situation where a bell student is actually in that situation right now and so is not passing their class.  Besides just having to pass their classes, others struggle on passing very important tests like CAHSEE, SAT, ACT, and etc.  Especially now its harder for some students because the state has changed CST standards to common core, so now its harder to get used to a new standard compared to one that you've grown up with.  In fact, a few people in bell struggle to fit in with a crowd like any other high school.  A lot of student worry about what crowd will like you, the way you dress, they way you are, or liking the same things you like. Having to impress people in High school is a big struggle because to impress others it would depend on how you dress and act.  I guess they're are many struggles for every student in bell, but some aren't noticed.  

The Most Interesting Person in the World

The most interesting person I know is my grandma.  Next week will be my grandma's birthday and she is going to be 90 years old.  The last time she came to visit my family and me was about 3 months ago. It was during my vacation and what I absolutely remember about my vacation and her visit was all the stories she was telling me about when she was young. I still remember one distinct story that she told me and I found fascinating was the day she met Cantinflas, before he got famous.  I was fascinated by that story and surprised that she never told me before about this, but i guess it was because she barley remembered when she saw commercials on tv about the Cantinflas movie coming out in theaters.  Her life to me was very surprising and interesting because she was a very outgoing young lady in her time and so she encountered many memorable and fascinating things.   We would and still talk for many hours on the phone and I would never get tired of hearing her life stories.  Even now she is still an outgoing person even if she needs help to go to places because of her age.  Still now she's also very happy all the time and maybe inappropriate to say now, but I'm surprised that she still drinks and knows how to party in her 90's.  Overall, I think my grandma is the most interesting person!
