Welcome to my Nightmare

                                                          Welcome To My Nightmare
Fear is a very common thing and everyone has a fear of something or possibly of everything.  Different people have different fears: spiders, the dark, speaking in public, big crowds, etc.  There are an infinity number of fears that exist in this world that we live in, however there are a minority of fears that people have that hold them back from becoming what they can possibly become.  For instance, people have a fear of speaking in public, so the fear of speaking publicly can hold them back from becoming a motivational speaker, a professor, or many more because there are many careers that come with the price of having to speak in public.  Many of these types of fears that people have hold them from ever reaching their full potential.  I believe that these fears that people have cause people to hold back because they begin to assume or imagine the worst that could happen if they ever try to overcome their fear.  When they begin to assume this, in their mind they begin to create other thoughts related to it and begin to believe that it can be possible.  They can also begin to dream about, which leads to nightmares.

Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times

                                                               Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times

Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times is a great movie.  The message that the movie gives is about reality in the working/managing business and that it is not all so happy.  In the movie there are many good things and bad things that happen, but it all keeps the hope alive for the people who are poor and live in poverty.  Its great and interesting how in the movie there are scenes comparing the future and present reality.   This is my favorite thing about the movie because it isn't like any other movie I have ever seen.  My favorite things about this movie is that Charlie Chaplin makes everything so funny even when the worst has happened.  Charlie Chaplin gives his opinion of many things going on in the world with his movie and whats fascinating is that you really have to pay attention to the whole movie to find out and understand what his opinions are.  I believe that there isn't anything bad about this movie, but others say otherwise.

Compassionate Sciences

                                                            Compassionate Sciences
I dont know how the world will be ten years from now or 100 years from now, but I would like to be one of the people who take a part in changing the world.  I don't think much about it but there's enough thoughts in my mind that make me feel that i have a slight chance.  I believe that later in time when I'm in a university about to get my masters, bachelors or any type of degree i may get, with that I will finally have the confidence to take part in the world.  I see how today's technology makes a big difference in peoples' lives and imagine what it will do in the later future.  If i ever go far in life, or doesn't matter if I don't, I would love to help out others how Mike Ebelling helped out a young boy named Daniel to have arms again even if they were prosthetic.  Seeing how he helped out a young boy, I believe I can do the same.  If I ever get to take part in what I actually want to be, architect/engineer, I would travel to other places to help build homes and communities for those who dont get to live in a comfortable home like we do.

My Name is John Merick

                                                              My Name is John Merrick
Last Night was a horrible night.  Night Porter came into my room and got me roughly and put me against my window where I saw many people looking at me with fear and evil in their eyes.  They seemed very interested in me and I noticed in their eyes and facial expression that they were disgusted by me and probably wanted to hurt me.  There was one creepy old man that was in the group with two other young women and I couldn't stop looking at him.  He was licking and kissing those women and in my mind I was frightened because he seemed like a crazy drunk.  Everyone else around the creepy old man frightened me as well.  After they all saw me through the window they all came into my room and the first one to come through my door was the creepy old man and his women. I didn't want to know what they were going to do to me and then thats when the old man forced one of his women to kiss me and Night Porter forced me to kiss her back.  I had no clue of what to do in that situation and after that all the drunk men that surrounded my room began to throw me around and pour beer into my mouth.  I felt that I was drowning and I felt like a freak that was being played as a toy and nt seen as a normal human being.  I was too scared to defent myself so I let them do the thing that they did.

My Thoughts on Bullying

My Thoughts on Bullying
I have never bullied, I have never been bullied, and I have never seen anyone with my own eyes been bullied.  I don't have much to say about this topic, but that it is a very horrible thing to do or even have exist in the world and of course many people know that.  When the topic bullying pops into my head I usually always wonder why do bullies do what they do.  What is going through their minds when they are bullying another kid, or what are the reasons for their actions.  I believe that maybe bullies do this for the feeling of power or control over someone and they want to be admired by others and always respected by others by force.  For those who are being bullied or ever witness a situation of bullying should do what ever they can to have it be stopped and many schools encourage this.

Review of the Elephant Man

                                                           Review of the Elephant Man

The Elephant Man was a really good movie.   I like the fact that throughout the movie it showed John Merrick as a real person instead of a monster.  This movie made me think about how a person can look physically different, but on the inside they can be exactly like you.  John Merrick was a real man who lived a life of misery and had many groups of people look at him with fear and disgust.  Seeing John Merrick's life before Fredrick Treves came into his life, I felt sorry for him.  In the Elephant Man there were many characters that at first didn't like John Merrick and thought he didnt belong in the hospital with the others, but later thorughout the movie thye begna to chnage the way they saw John Merrick and got to know him better and loved him for who he was.  Also, in the movie I felt an inspiration to never put my head down and think life was over because John Merrick never let anyone or anything get to him to the point where he didn't want to live.  He loved his life even after all that he went through.

The Future

                                                                     The Future
In the future,100 years or even 1,000 years from now, I believe the world will have many economic issues, social class issues, and of course what everyone thinks, technology would be more advanced.  Many people think that the only thing that would change would be the technology but that isn't whats going to change, the whole world and people are going to change.  Over the years from 100 years back to today, you  can see how peoples' lives, civilizations, and technologies have advanced and changed.  Imagine how the world would be 100 years later from today, there will possibly be underground cities, in space cities, like many people say, flying cars, and humanlike robots.  In fact, I believe   However, the technology will worsen nature and have affect on things we eat and do in our life.    Although the technology would be more advanced and more useful to us, there is also the lives of people to think about and the government and world we will live in.
